What happens after I send a booking inquiry to rent a vacation home?

A.Booking inquiries are sent directly to the property owner or manager. The owner usually responds within 24 hours. You will always receive a booking inquiry confirmation email from AlwaysOnVacation, in which we provide contact information for the owner or property manager so you can contact them directly.

What do I receive as a rental confirmation?

A.Confirmation documentation varies by property, but you usually receive a Renter’s Agreement by email or fax. Sign and return this agreement to the owner or property manager. The Property Owner will notify you as to the documentation they require.If you make a reservation through the AlwaysOnVacation Direct Booking System, you will receive booking confirmation directly from AlwaysOnVacation.

How do I submit payment for a rental property?

A.The owner of the property will give you instructions for how they want to receive payment. Property owners typically accept credit cards, Paypal, checks, and some other forms of payment. Payments on bookings made through the AlwaysOnVacation Direct Booking System are made directly through AlwaysOnVacation

What currencies are accepted by property owners and managers?

A.The property owner can choose which currency they accept. All currency questions should be submitted to the property owner If you pay by credit card, conversion rate fees may be charged by your credit card company. Payments on bookings made through the AlwaysOnVacation Direct Booking System can be made in your home currency, and they will be converted automatically for the property owner.

How do I communicate with the property owner if we don’t speak the same language?

What if we arrive and the property isn’t what we expected when we rented it?

A.Contact the property owner immediately to resolve any issues directly with the property. If you are unable to resolve the issue directly with the property owner.

How do I submit a property review?

A.You will receive an email from AlwaysOnVacation afteryour stay with a link to submit a review of the property that you rented. You can also select the Reviews link at the top of each AlwaysOnVacation property listing to submit a review for your rental property.

Do you offer fraud protection to protect the traveler in the very unlikely event that the property rented does not exist?
