This beautiful detached farmhouse is within a 10 minute drive of Mount Snowdon. The décor and furnishings are of the highest standards. The village of Llanrug is about three and a half miles from Llanberis, gateway to Snowdonia, and the same distance from the historic castle town of Caernarfon. It's an ideal central location for your break. The property has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed, colour television, bedside cabinets, clock radio and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet and clock radio. The third bedroom has two single beds with bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. All bed linen is provided at no extra cost. The kitchen / dining room is fully equipped with all the utensils, cutlery and crockery for your break. It has a dishwasher, electric cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, electric kettle, microwave, toaster and colour television. There is a large dining table with six chairs for you to enjoy any meal at the table. In the main lounge there are two large leather sofas. You can sit yourself down and relax of an evening in front of the digital Freeview Television and DVD. You will also find a selection of DVDs for you to enjoy. There is another lounge, often referred as the reading room, where you will find comfortable chairs, a CD player and a selection of CDs for you to listen to. The bathroom is equipped with a standard toilet, washbasin and power shower. Hot water is in constant supply via the oil combi boiler which also provides the central heating when required. The property is fitted with six smoke alarms and one heat alarm which are all mains powered and interconnected and tested regularly. Hafod y Gwynt is a large stone-built former coaching house with unique mountain views. It stands in 15 acres of land with an 8 acre lake surrounded by the high mountains of Snowdonia. Situated at the head of the Nant Gwynant valley between Beddgelert, Capel Curig and Llanberis, it is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park with many local tourist attractions and superb beaches also within easy reach. It provides an ideal base for walking and mountaineering. Snowdon, the highest mountain range in England and Wales, can be ascended from the house. Trout fishing is available in Lockwood's Lake within the grounds. There is a large attractive garden with a stream running through. It is just 200 meters from the renowned Pen Y Gwryd hotel.
The house sleeps upto 12, pets are welcome. The self-catering accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms: family room with double bed, bunks and en-suite bathroom: family room with double bed, bunks and en-suite shower room, double room with basin, twin room with basin, family bathroom/WC and separate WC/cloakroom with dehumidifier for drying outdoor clothes. Nesting into the hillside with breathtaking views across open countryside, Crud Y Werin and its sister cottage next door, Crud Y Wennol have both been carefully converted from a former stone and slate longhouse barn. Many of the original beams and features have been retained and restored, and some delightful modern twists have also been introduced to create a lovely balance of old and new in harmony.
The downstairs is split into 2 spaces.
The well-equipped stylish kitchen and dining area is airy and light with plenty of space and serves as the main living area. This has seating and a flat screen tv with dvd. There is also a separate sitting room with oak flooring and comfy sofas also with a TV/DVD.

These stunning cottages are part of a 150 acre farm with sheep and Welsh Black cattle. The field below the cottages is available for children to play in all year except lambing time, when guests can see lambing taking place at first hand.
There are walks from the door of the cottages up the mountain to a private lake. From here the views are simply stunning and it is recommended to take a picnic.
