The first floor of this 19th century barn conversion gives it’s translated name the ‘barley store loft’ which was originally accessed by the external stone steps to the rear. Here the grain was stored in different compartment. Now these original sections with pitched ceilings have been beautifully restored to be an open plan living area with wealth of pine beams separating the kitchen/ dinning and seating area. The accommodation sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the largest bedroom comprising of a magnificent four poster bed and a child single bed with another twin and double bedroom on the ground floor. Both double bedrooms have en-suites. Some original stonewalls and character has also been restored in the bedrooms. The main entrance is on the ground floor near the bedrooms that has an outside patio with seating area. For warmth the downstairs bedrooms has under floor heating while upstairs has oil filled radiators and a wall mounted electric fire. WIFI connection available - please bring your own computer.
